Intro to MARCH and Bleeding Control

Description

This four hour course provides the student with a crash course in trauma medicine.

Focus is placed on bleeding control in the context of GSW (gunshot wound) and on learning the MARCH algorithm as it applies to trauma care:

Massive Hemorrhage
Airway
Respirations
Circulation
Head/Hyopthermia

This hands-on, immersive class is taught by a Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D) and incorporates real-world lessons learned from overseas deployments.
